About Blood plasma . . . . .
Plasma is the straw-colored liquid in which the blood cells are suspended. Plasma is made up of:

bullet 92% mol - Water
bullet 6 to 8% - Proteins
bullet < 1% - Various Salts
bullet < 1% - Lipids
bullet 1/10th of 1% Blood Sugars (Glucose)

Plasma carries these things needed by our cells and removes waste materials from cells:

bullet Various ions (Na+, Ca2+, HCO3−, etc.
bullet Glucose and traces of other sugars
bullet Amino and other organic acids
bullet Cholesterol and other lipids
bullet Unused hormones
bullet Urea and other wastes
 
Carbon Dioxide Transport - Carbon dioxide (CO2) combines with water forming carbonic acid, which dissociates into a hydrogen ion (H+) and bicarbonate ions:

CO2 + H2O ↔ H2CO3 ↔ H+ + HCO3−

Not all plasma is the same. Plasma can differ in the kinds of antibodies that it contains. If a seller has specific antibodies in their Blood plasma in sufficient quantities, that person may be considered a 'special plasma seller'. People may also have a rare or in some cases even a unique Blood type that would set them apart as a 'special plasma seller.' While all plasma and Blood sales and donations are life-giving and precious, many plasma centers collect plasma from these special kinds of donors. These plasma sellers are often paid a premium for donating.
